2022 Public Informational Hearing
An online Public Informational Hearing will take place on Saturday, February 19th at 10 am. Voters can ask questions and get information about Articles on the ballot. The hearing will be held in a hybrid format, with the option to log in via Zoom or attend in person at the Calais Town Hall, 1662 Kent Hill Road, Gospel Hollow. Due to sound quality issues at the Town Hall, and for health and safety concerns around Covid, voters are encouraged to log in via Zoom.

2022 Calais Town Meeting
The 2022 Calais Town Meeting will take place by Australian ballot with voting taking place at the Calais Elementary School. Out of an abundance of caution, there will not be a public in-person Town Meeting or traditional Town Meeting day potluck lunch due to COVID-19.
The Calais Town Office encourages early and mail-in voting prior to election day. There will be no voting taking place at the Town Office.
Mail or deliver your completed ballots to the Calais Town Office, 3120 Pekin Brook Road, East Calais, VT 05650 prior to election day, March 1, 2022. Please mail no later than February 21, 2022 to ensure timely delivery.
If Delivering in Person: Drop your completed ballots in the secure dropbox located in the enclosed Town Office entrance by midnight February 28, 2022.

Please note that the Calais Town ballot and WCUUSD ballots have been mailed to all active registered voters in Calais. Ballots to vote on the possible formation of the Central Vermont Career Center School District were not allowed to be automatically mailed out to all voters. This ballot is only available by request through the standard absentee ballot process or available at the polls on Town Meeting Day. If you would like to have a CVCC ballot mailed to you please contact the Calais Town Clerk's office at (802)456-8720.
Please also contact the office if you have not received your town and WCUUSD ballots by February 14, 2022.
