"Wild Calais" Photo Contest

The Calais Conservation Commission "Wild Calais" Photo Contest is open to everyone, though all photos must be taken in Calais. 

Please submit your contact information below. Then upload your photo, and tell us more about where and why you took the photo. You can find out more about our photo categories (and about the variety of ecosystems in Calais) on our "Wild Calais" articles page. 

Submissions will be accepted through Labor Day, which is September 1, 2025, and winners will be announced in the fall. Additional photos will be selected for display in local Calais stores and at the Fall Foliage Festival; yours could be one of them! Please submit no more than three (3) photos per photographer per month through the end of the contest on September 1.
